LEGO announced today the upcoming release of LEGO Ideas 21327 – Typewriter! The set will boast a number of features including:
- Carriage moves from left to right as you “type” on working keys.
- Ability to feed a real sheet of paper into the brick-built platen roller.
- Every key has a printed character, no stickers required.
- Black and red ink spool ribbon is a new fabric element.
I’m personally a huge fan of the LEGO Ideas sets since they often head in directions that standard LEGO sets wouldn’t venture into and this set is no different. I am really impressed with both the coloring and overall look of this LEGO Typewriter and I’m quite happy that they have worked in some functionality to the set. I am looking forward to building this set and will post a review once we have built it.
This impressive LEGO Ideas set consists of 2079 pieces and will be available for VIPs on June 16, 2021 and will be available for everyone on July 1, 2021. If you haven’t already become a VIP I highly recommend it so you can take advantage of these early releases.
