Disney Encanto Sets Coming December 1st
LEGO has officially announced three sets for the upcoming Encanto movie from Disney! The movie is being released on November 24, 2021 and the sets will be available starting December 1, 2021.
LEGO 43202 – The Madrigal House
The Madrigal House (43202) contains 587 pieces including 3 micro-doll figures. This 3 level house scene contains a lot of excellent parts including masonry bricks, butterflies, and some great foliage pieces! I really like the overall look of the house and I think it would be really interesting to see a MOC of this that built it up into a larger scale model.
LEGO 43200 – Antonio’s Magical Door
LEGO 43200 contains 99 pieces including 2 micro-doll figures. When built and closed the set takes on the appearance of a book or door that can be unlocked with the provided key to access all of the play elements inside. I really like the inclusion of butterflies across all 3 of these sets. The other part of interest that jumped out at me from the images of the set is the slide piece which could have some interesting applications.
LEGO 43201 – Isabela’s Magical Door
LEGO 43201 contains 114 pieces including 3 micro-doll figures . Like 43200 this set when built and closed takes on the appearance of a book or door that can be unlocked with the provided key to access all of the play elements inside. The parts in this set that stand out to me the most are the different colored foliage and accent bricks which would be cool to use.
Overall these sets will be very appealing to fans of the Disney Encanto movie, but even beyond that they contain a number of interesting parts as well as opportunities for expansion which makes them appealing for general LEGO fans as well.
