Luigi’s Mansion LEGO Sets Coming January 1
LEGO has officially revealed three Luigi’s Mansion LEGO sets which will be available starting January 1, 2022! As with the previous Super Mario LEGO sets that have been released you need to buy 71387 or 71360 Starter Course if you want to be able to play as Luigi or Mario.
LEGO 71399 – Luigi’s Mansion Entryway Expansion Set
LEGO 71399 contains 504 pieces and includes 3 LEGO figures: Polterpup, Bogmire, and a Boo. The set allows you to build a mansion entrance along with a few spooky exterior details. I personally really like the characters that are included in this set and the entrance way definitely hints at how it could be used as a jumping off point for a full mansion build!
LEGO 71397 – Luigi’s Mansion Lab and Poltergust Expansion Set
The Lab and Poltergust expansion set contains 179 pieces and includes 2 LEGO figures: Professor E. Gadd and Gold Ghost. Both of these characters look cool and it is fun that the set includes a Poltergust for Luigi to use as well. While a relatively small set it looks like it should be a lot of fun with the great lab elements you build and the characters that are included.
LEGO 71401 – Luigi’s Mansion Haunt-and-Seek Expansion Set
LEGO 71401 contains 877 pieces and includes 4 Luigi’s Mansion characters in LEGO form: Toad (with a scared face), a Garbage Can Ghost, a Grabbing Ghost, and King Boo! The set comes with a start plate that triggers different background music as well as a cool rotating hallway that allows you to access each of the rooms. There are a lot of great play and story elements packed into this set and it should be a lot of fun to build!
