New LEGO Minecraft Sets Coming January 1

LEGO has announced 6 new LEGO Minecraft sets that will be available for purchase starting January 1, 2022!

LEGO 21179 – The Mushroom House

This set contains 272 pieces including an Alex figure, a Mooshroom, and a Spider Jockey. The Mooshroom looks really cool and is the stand out in my opinion on the character side in this set.

LEGO 21183 – The Training Grounds

This set contains 534 pieces and includes the following characters: ninja, rogue, skeleton, and bat. The set consists of a dojo on the upper level and a blacksmith’s cave on the lower level. I’m a really big fan of these multi-level Minecraft builds and this one looks it should be a lot of fun to build.

LEGO 21181 – The Rabbit Ranch

This set contains 340 pieces and looks be continuing on the yearly tradition of having at least one set that is shaped like a creature in the Minecraft world. I think this set looks awesome and I hope that LEGO continues to make sets like this in the future. It is also worth noting that this set comes with the following characters: the tamer, a rabbit, a baby rabbit, and a zombie.

LEGO 21180 – The Guardian Battle

This set contains 255 pieces and includes a diver, a glow squid, a guardian, an elder guardian, and 3 axolotls. The diver figure looks really cool and I also like the fact that this set is based in the underwater portion of Minecraft which doesn’t get quite as many sets.

LEGO 21177 – The Creeper Ambush

This set contains 72 pieces and includes Steve, a baby pig, a baby chicken, and a red Exploding Creeper! This is a relatively small set, but definitely worth picking up for the awesome characters that it includes.

LEGO 21178 – The Fox Lodge

This set contains 193 pieces and includes a drowned zombie, a fox, a baby fox, an Arctic fox, and a hero character in a fox outfit. The Fox Lodge looks awesome and it is really cool that we got two buildings shaped like characters in this round of Minecraft sets. The set also contains a lot of great looking characters making it one of the best sets in the list in my opinion.
