LEGO 10303 – Loop Coaster Coming July 5 (July 1st For VIPs)
LEGO has officially revealed LEGO Icons 10303 – Loop Coaster which will be available starting July 5, 2022, but VIPs get early access starting July 1, 2022!
This massive LEGO rollercoaster set contains 3756 pieces and will measure over 36 in. (92 cm) high, 33.5 in. (85 cm) wide and 13.5 in. (34 cm) deep once built. The set includes 11 minifigures (ride operator, balloon seller, pretzel seller, hot-dog seller, a grandma, a young boy, and 5 riders) and 6 of the minifigures have reversible heads to show different emotions. The rollercoaster track includes two loop sections as well as an elevator that can be operated manually or you can motorize it by separately purchasing a couple of LEGO Powered Up elements. I assume the Powered Up elements are sold separately to avoid increasing the already high price for this set, but I really wish that everything you needed for motorizing it was included in the box. Other fairground elements that you build as part of the set are a park bench with map, balloon cart, pretzel cart, hot-dog stand, height marker and a covered boarding station with opening barriers and a control panel.
Overall this looks to be an amazing addition to the LEGO Fairground Collection and will be a definite must buy for a lot of LEGO fans! I’m personally excited to add this to the fairground section in our LEGO layout and I think it will be interesting to see how fans modify this set to come up with different rollercoaster designs.
