LEGO 80111 – Lunar New Year Parade Coming January 10
LEGO has officially revealed LEGO 80111 – Lunar New Year Parade which is releasing January 10, 2023 in North America (December 25, 2022 in the UK and other regions)!
This set contains 1653 pieces and allows you to build an impressive LEGO Year of the Rabbit Lunar New Year Parade with 3 connectible parade floats! One of the really cool details in the set is that each of the floats animates as you push them along. For example, when you push the musicians’ float it makes the on-board drummer minifigure drum automatically! The set also contains 18 minifigures including a performer in a rabbit outfit, 2 masked performers, 5 musical performers with instrument accessories, and LEGO performers dressed as Monkie Kid, a pirate, an astronaut and a knight.
Overall this looks to be an exceptional addition to the LEGO Chinese New Year line of sets. This will be an excellent stand alone model to play with and display, but I personally can’t wait to add it to the streets of my LEGO City where it should look great!
