LEGO Monkie Kid 80045 – Monkey King Ultra Mech Coming January 1
LEGO has officially revealed LEGO Monkie Kid 80045 – Monkey King Ultra Mech which is releasing January 1, 2023!
This set contains 1705 pieces and contains 6 minifigures – Monkie Kid, Monkey King, Yellow Tusk Elephant, The Golden-Winged Eagle, Azure Lion and Mr. Tang! This amazing looking mech features some visual references to the original Monkey King Warrior Mech, but adds a number of upgrades including rear rocket boosters, a new armor design, newly designed Golden Sight power with a light brick, a staff and other weapons that can be transformed into a jet. Once the mech is completed it stands over 15 in. (39 cm) tall and 10 in. (26 cm) wide (with arms at its sides) which is quite impressive!
Overall this looks to be a must have set for both fans of Monkie Kid and Mechs! The Monkie Kid line of sets continues its tradition of visually impressive sets and I personally can’t wait to try out this build.
