LEGO has officially announced a new Sonic The Hedgehog theme and four new sets within that theme that will be releasing on August 1, 2023!

LEGO 76994 – Sonic’s Green Hill Zone Loop Challenge

This set contains 802 pieces and comes with 9 characters: Sonic, Amy, a Flicky, Becky, Pocky, Pecky, Dr. Eggman, plus Badniks Chopper and Newtron! One of the best parts of this new theme is the fact that a lot of different Sonic characters are going to now be available in LEGO form. This particular set is packed with a lot of great characters and also looks to have a number of interesting parts as well which is likely to make it very a popular set to purchase.

LEGO 76991 – Tails’ Workshop and Tornado Plane

This set contains 376 parts and 4 characters: Sonic, Tails, a Clucky, Buzz Bomber! While the Tornado plane looks nice I am sure this will be a popular set because of the Tails character which people will likely be very interested in getting.

LEGO 76992 – Amy’s Animal Rescue Island

This set contains 388 pieces and contains 6 characters: Amy, Tails, Crabmeat, Picky, Pocky and a Flicky. The set allows you to build a fun island scene and in addition to a number of great characters contains some interesting parts as well as some cool ideas that could be adapted to a larger scale Sonic level build!

LEGO 76990 – Sonic’s Speed Sphere Challenge

This set contains 292 parts and includes 3 characters: Sonic the Hedgehog, the iconic Moto bug Badnik, and Sonic’s Flicky friend. While the set is the smallest of the four it still contains some interesting level components and characters that should make it worth buying to pair up with the other builds in the theme.
