LEGO Architecture 21060 – Himeji Castle Coming August 1
LEGO has officially announced LEGO Architecture 21060 – Himeji Castle which will be releasing August 1, 2023!
This set will contain 2125 pieces and will allow you to build a brick model of Japan’s largest castle! The model focuses on the upper level of the castle’s massive grounds and includes 4 buildable cherry trees, 2 with green foliage and 2 with pink blossoms, to show the gardens in full springtime bloom. This is a very distinctive castle and I’m quite impressed with how the designer has managed to recreate the turrets and walkways around it. Microscale builds are always amazing to look at and analyze as interesting choices need to be made in order to recreate key features and the overall look of a building with a limited set of bricks and this set is definitely an excellent example of how to do it right! One other cool feature of this set that is worth noting is that you can lift off the top of the main building to view a simplified interpretation of the interior layout.
