LEGO Icing House And Platform Instruction Sets By jepaz Available On Rebrickable
Rebrickable user jepaz has released three great sets of instructions for building LEGO icing houses and platforms to support the railroad and industries around your LEGO layout!
The first style of icing house and platform has a footprint of roughly 8 MILS modules (4×2 baseplates) and requires 11,939 parts. I really like the platform style in this build as well as the prominence of the icing house based on its size and coloring. I also like amount of wood colored bricks used in the platform and other structures which makes this look to me like more of an older/original style of icing house.
The second style of icing house and platform also has a footprint of roughly 8 MILS modules (4×2 baseplates) and requires 6,769 parts. Overall this iteration looks much more modern and has a lower profile than the other two icing houses. One big advantage of that lower profile is the significantly smaller part count required to complete the build compared to the other two versions!
The third style of icing house and platform has a footprint of 12 MILS modules (6×2 baseplates) and requires 11,543 parts! Features that stand out for me with this version of the icing house are the great rooftops on the building itself and the great color contrast between the white and grey of the platform and the tan on the icing house.
It is also worth noting that all three of these instruction sets include some amazing trees that you build around the icing house and platform which adds a lot to the overall scene. Overall I am really impressed by the amount of detail and differentiation that jepaz has managed to achieve with these three models. I am a big fan of the work that jepaz does and these look to be great additions to the list of impressive LEGO instruction sets that he has for sale on Rebrickable.
