New Brickmania Digital Instructions (6/29)
Brickmania has released two new digital instruction sets for sale on their website. The digital instruction sets they have added this week are the Regimental Anti-Tank Gun Battle Pack (designed by Daniel Siskind) and the IJA Coastal Defense Battery (designed by Cody Osell). Both of these models look awesome and show the wide breadth of great kits that Brickmania releases, but my personal favorite out of the two models is definitely the IJA Coastal Defense Battery.
According to the original product page for the IJA (Imperial Japanese Army) Coastal Defense Battery, the Imperial Japanese Army and Navy embarked on an ambitious campaign to construct defensive bastions on the outlying islands and territories that they took over during World War II. The IJA Coastal Defense Battery is a multipart battle pack and the instructions allow you to build a Type 10 120mm Naval Gun, a prepared gun pit with ammunition lockers, and concrete observation pillbox. I really like the fact that this particular model/instruction set opens up a lot of possibilities for builders to construct larger scale dioramas that utilize these core components. Brickmania also offers quite a few BrickArms products that can be purchased separately from the instructions and used to fully kit out your IJA Coastal Defense Battery (tap here for the full list of links to the Brickmania store) with some great additional details.
If you don’t already have these awesome models in your collection it is definitely worth checking them out! In addition to the instructions there are also sticker packs and special parts available for purchase so you can complete these models in all of their glory.
