New Brickmania Digital Instructions (7/20)

Brickmania has released two new digital instruction sets for sale on their website. The digital instruction sets they have added this week are the M3A1 Scout Car (designed by Dan Siskind) and the SdKfz 251 ausf D + Pak 40 (designed by Dan Siskind). Both of these models look really impressive, but my personal favorite out of these two is definitely the M3A1 Scout Car!

According to the Wikipedia page for the M3A1 Scout Car it was a “lightly armored, open topped, machine gun armed, four wheel drive vehicle designed to be used in the reconnaissance role”. The M3A1 Scout Car was produced between 1939–1944 and apparently was the only version of this type of scout car to see service outside of the United States. The details that initially jump out for me with this model are the great headlight and front bumper shapes the designer has managed to achieve in addition to the excellent recreation of the driver cab area with the guns mounted above it and behind it. Brickmania also offers a sticker pack for the M3A1 Scout Car that you can purchase separately from the model instructions (tap here to view it in the Brickmania store) that includes some great additional details.

If you don’t already have these awesome models in your collection it is definitely worth checking them out! In addition to the instructions there are also sticker packs and special parts available for purchase so you can complete these models in all of their glory.
