LEGO 76405 – Hogwarts Express Collectors’ Edition has been officially revealed by LEGO and will be available starting August 31, 2022!

This impressive LEGO Train set contains 5129 pieces and includes 20 minifigures (Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Remus Lupin, Ginny Weasley, Draco Malfoy and many more – including a Dementor). The Hogwarts Express consists of a locomotive, coal tender, and a 3 room passenger car, but does not come with instructions on how to motorize the locomotive (I’m sure builders will be publishing ways to get the train motorized with power functions and powered up within days of the set launching). The passenger car contains 3 light bricks to highlight featured movie moments: when Harry, Ron and Hermione meet for the very first time; where Professor Remus Lupin rescues Harry from a Dementor; when Luna Lovegood saved Harry from Draco Malfoy’s spell. The set also includes the ability to build a portion of platform 9 3/4 and a track bed for the train to be displayed with. Once the platform is built you can then relive the magic as Harry’s son Albus Severus gets ready for his own spellbinding adventures at Hogwarts!

Overall this looks like an amazing addition to the long list of LEGO train sets that LEGO has released over the years and is sure to be a hit with Harry Potter and LEGO train fans!
