New Brickmania Digital Instructions (9/7)

Brickmania has released two new digital instruction sets for sale on their website. The digital instruction sets they have added this week are the BTR-82A (designed by Daniel Siskind) and the T-80BVM (designed by Mary Wilson). Both of these models look really impressive, but my personal favorite out of these two is definitely the BTR-82A!

According to the Wikipedia page for the BTR-82A it was an “8×8 wheeled amphibious armored personnel carrier (APC) designed in the USSR”. Apparently the BTR-82A was “adopted in 1985” and was “first deployed during the Soviet–Afghan War”. One of the first details that jumped out for me in particular with this APC was the excellent color choice and layout for those colors across the model as part of the camo scheme! Other great features of the BTR-82A model are opening hatches, windows, and doors, as well as working front steering, and a great looking turret. I also really like the fact that the roof can be easily opened to access the interior for general playability. Brickmania also offers a sticker pack for the BTR-82A that you can purchase separately from the model instructions (tap here to view it in the Brickmania store) that includes some great additional details.

If you don’t already have these awesome models in your collection it is definitely worth checking them out! In addition to the instructions there are also sticker packs and special parts available for purchase so you can complete these models in all of their glory.
