New Brickmania Digital Instructions (6/8)
Brickmania has released two new digital instruction sets for sale on their website. The digital instruction sets they have added this week are the Police Spinner (designed by John Canepa) and the F6F-5 Hellcat (designed by Daniel Siskind). Both of these models look really impressive, but my personal favorite out of these two is definitely the F6F-5 Hellcat.
According to the Wikipedia page for the F6F-5 Hellcat it is an American carrier-based fighter aircraft from World War II. Apparently it was “designed to replace the earlier F4F Wildcat and to counter the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M Zero” and it was “the United States Navy’s dominant fighter in the second half of the Pacific War”. The F6F-5 Hellcat model not only looks great on its own, but it is impressive to see just how faithful the designer was in recreating this plane. I really like the colors they chose for the fighter and I’m also really impressed by the shape they have managed to achieve for the cockpit canopy. Brickmania also offers a sticker pack for the F6F-5 Hellcat that you can purchase separately from the model instructions (tap here to view it in the Brickmania store) that includes some great additional details.
If you don’t already have these awesome models in your collection it is definitely worth checking them out! In addition to the instructions there are also sticker packs and special parts available for purchase so you can complete these models in all of their glory.
